Digital media technology majors rely on cooperation with the digital creative industry. The digital creative industry is a key area of
strategic emerging industries identified in the "Thirteenth Five-Year" National Strategic Emerging Industry Development Plan of
the State Council. In November 2020, the "Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on
Formulating the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and Long-Term Goals for 2035
once again proposed the goal of promoting the high-quality development of the digital creative industry.
