Sino-German School

Formally established in March 2017, the Sino-German School is a secondary Institute school in cooperation with the Department of Science, Education and Art of Bavaria, Germany. In September 2017, the School received the first batch of 141 students. It has two majors which are Industrial Robotics Technology andIndustrial Network Technology. Adhering to high-quality teaching, small class-based management and personalized development, the School has introduced the German vocational education concept and learned from the German vocational education and training system (also known as the dual training system) and the German education and teaching standards to develop internationalized highly skilled personnel featuring the craftsman’s spirit. The School adopts an internationalized talent development mode, enabling its students to have broader employment prospects.

Additionally, the School has also set up an internationalplatformoffering junior college and undergraduate courses. Students can receive a Chinese junior college diploma after completing all the SZIIT-specified higher vocational education courses and passing relevant tests. They can acquire a technician certificate issued by the German authority after passing the German technician examination. Students who have a technician certificate and meet the German language requirement (pass the TestDaf exam) can apply for further undergraduate study (tuition free) at applied technology universities in cooperation with the School in Germany. Students who have obtained enough credits for the undergraduate courses can receive a German undergraduate certificate. Students who have a technician certificate and meet the IELTS requirement (no less than 5.5 points) can apply for further undergraduate study in Glyndwr University, Wales, UK. Students who have obtained enough credits for the undergraduate courses can receive a British undergraduate certificate.

Major Introduction

 

Industrial Robotics Technology

[Educational Objectives]This major aims to develop high-quality application-oriented, innovative and highly skilled personnel who are in great demand. They should have good professionalism, humanistic qualities and innovative spirit. In addition, they should be able to meet the front line requirements for industrial automated production, construction, management and service, master the basic knowledge and skills of industrial robot design, application and maintenance and be competent in commissioning, application and maintenance of robotics and automated assembly lines.

[Main Courses]Fundamental Theory of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology, Motor and Control, PLC, C&Phython Programming, Principles of Robotics Technology, Human-robot Interaction, Application and Development of Industrial Robotics, Application of Auto-generation Line Technology, etc. Practice: practical electrotechnical training, practical PLC control training, practical program design training, practical industrial robotics and manipulator training and internship, etc.

[Employment Prospects]Graduates should be able to work as industrial robotics operators and programmers, industrial robotics technicians, industrial robotics management and maintenance technicians, automated equipment installation and commissioning technicians and automated equipment design engineers, etc. They should also be competent in the simulation, programming, commissioning, operation and sales of industrial robotics systems, the maintenance, repair and management of industrial robotics application systems as well as the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, management and sales of industrial automated equipment and automatic production lines.

[Additional Information]In 2016, the Shenzhen Municipal Government started to cooperate with the Bavarian State of Germany. In 2017, the State Council issued theGuiding Opinion on Development of Industrial Internet by Furthering “Internet+ Advanced Manufacture”. As a core specialty of Sino-German School, Industrial Robotics Technology has been included in the School’s high-level major (cluster) construction project from 2018 to 2020. This major aims to develop application-oriented, innovative and highly skilled personnel who are in great demand in today’s industrial robotics field. Meanwhile, the School furthers cooperation with Germany and UK to provide students with international channels for further higher vocational education.

This major has a high-level international faculty team. All full-time teachers have a doctorate, 100% of them have dual titles or dual qualificationsand 75% of them have experience working, studying or training in Germany. The faculty team has a national-level star teacher, a provincial-level talent of the “Thousand, Hundred and Ten Project”, two professors and five corporate and foreign vocational technical tutors. Furthermore, this major has also established cooperation with MYS, Huangxing Dingsheng, C.H.L Robotics and other renowned enterprises and founded a corporate college (class) to lay a solid foundation for the development of high level talent.

Industrial Network Technology (oriented at Internet of Things)

 

[Educational Objectives]This major aims to enable its students to achieve all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics. Students should develop comprehensive qualities and acquire the basic theoretical knowledge of IoT technology and the basic knowledge and skills of IoT setup and network management, operation and maintenance. Graduates should be high-quality technical personnel who are competent in IoT applications and development and can also rapidly keep up with the latest technology.

[Main Courses]C&Phython Programming, APP Development, Network Front-end and Back-end Development, Intelligent Networking, IoT Engineering, Database, Network Management and Maintenance, Information Security and Offense and Defense, etc. Practice: practical training on network application development, program design, network setup, virtual technology application, generic cabling and IoT comprehensive application projects as well as internship, etc.

[Employment Prospects]Graduates can work as engineers or technicians in smart home application, IoT product development, network system design and construction, network engineering supervision, database system management, network management and maintenance, network application software development and maintenance and software product testing. They can also work as network equipment sales and technical support personnel. This major is preparing to increase the Industrial Internet field, making great efforts to provide outstanding employees and important backbone staff who are qualified for various technical positions for Shenzhen's industrial Internet industry.

This major has a high-level international faculty team. All full-time teachers have a doctorate, 100% of them have dual titles or dual qualifications, 80% have business experience and nearly 60% have experience working, studying or training in Germany. This major has established a comprehensive cooperative relationship with Foxconn, Huawei, ZTE, Yeefung Automation and other renowned companies and founded a corporate college (class) to lay a solid foundation for the development of high level talent.
