On September 23, Xu Zhiliang, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SZIIT, attended the plaque awarding ceremony held at Shenzhen University for schools of advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The SZIIT School of Microelectronics and other relevant schools of Shenzhen University, Shenzhen Technology University and Shenzhen Polytechnic were awarded the title of "School of Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing". Chen Qiuming, Secretary of Shenzhen Education Work Committee, and Director and Party Leadership Group Secretary of Shenzhen Education Bureau, Chief Supervisor Cai Maozhou, Academician Wang Xujin, and relevant leaders of Shenzhen University, Shenzhen Technology University and Shenzhen Polytechnic attended the plaque awarding ceremony.

School of Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing is committed to cultivating talents in the field of high-quality high-end semiconductor manufacturing to support the "Action Plan for Cultivation and Development of Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Industry Cluster in Shenzhen (2022-2025)", a strategy launched by the Shenzhen government. Shenzhen will introduce a series of talent training policies for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. The awarding of the plaque of the School of Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing is the approval of the Shenzhen government to the quality of the SZIIT School of Microelectronics in running a school and cultivating talents. In the future, SZIIT will actively respond to the call of the Shenzhen government, increase the number of students enrolled in the semiconductor manufacturing direction, actively carry out the construction of high-quality teaching resources, vigorously foster talents in advanced semiconductor manufacturing, and help the development of integrated circuit industry in Shenzhen.
