Students from School of Information and Communication won the first prize in the national competition of "5G Network Construction Technology"

From August 22 to 23, Huang Shuying and Zhang Yanyun, whose major was Modern Mobile Communication Technology, from the School of Information and Communication, and their instructors Gong Handong and Ye Jianfeng, formed one of the participating teams on behalf of Guangdong Province, participated in the "5G Network Construction Technology" competition in the senior vocational group of the National Vocational College Skills Competition2022, and competed against 56 other teams nationwide. The team won the first prize with stable technical level, good spirit and excellent overall quality.

The School of Information and Communication will continue to insist on the industry-education integration for interaction and improvement of the level of schooling, continuously improve the mechanism for position-course-competition-certificate combination, play the role of the national competition on driving professional construction and talent training, and continuously cultivate high-quality technical skills talents to meet the needs of ICT industry and technology development in the new era.
