The "China Education Opportunities Virtual Event 2022" sponsored by China Education Association for International Exchange opened at 9:30 a.m. on April 27, with more than 140 universities and colleges participating. Wang Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of SZIIT, was invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the online exhibition and delivered a keynote speech as the only invited representative among the participating higher vocational education institutions.
At the opening ceremony, President Wang Hui introduced Shenzhen to teachers and students from universities and research institutions from more than 20 countries and regions around the world as well as to the potential international students in the future. He also introduced the characteristics, advantages and education effectiveness of SZIIT, and expressed the desire for foreign cooperation and exchange. He attracted extensive attention worldwide, and the heat on the live platform of Sohu Education alone reached more than 32,000.
In this online exhibition, the School of International Exchange and Cooperation showed the internationalized specialties and courses of SZIIT in an all-round and three-dimensional way through promotional videos, texts and graphics on the platform before the exhibition, live broadcast during the exhibition, and online communication after the exhibition, and introduced the enrollment policies to international students in a bilingual way. During the live broadcast, international students were very interested in the issues such as internship arrangement and employment recommendation, and asked how to get the application form, etc. During the campus scenery display, international students could not help but exclaim that the campus was so beautiful! SZIIT ranked top among the exhibiting institutions in terms of attention to the displayed information.
