Recently, 17 teachers from SZIIT have successfully completed the Sino-German Dual System Elite Teacher Enhancement Program and obtained the completion certificates jointly signed and issued by China Education Association for International Exchange, German Heinze Institute and German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Global Overseas Office. Among them, Zhu Ji from School of Finance and Economics, Tan Yueyang from Sino-German School of Robotics, and Li Xiangwan from School of Digital Media, were awarded the title of "Excellent Students".
It is reported that this program is a high-quality online training program implemented in the context of "double-high" construction of vocational schools. The aim of the program is to improve the professional teaching ability, practical guidance ability, professional technical level and international vision of teachers in vocational schools, and help cultivate a high-quality, professional and innovative high-level double-title (certificate) teacher team. The course is divided into three modules, including online learning, livestreaming seminars, task instruction assignments and assessments. After more than three months of serious learning, SZIIT students all successfully passed the assessment and completed the course, and received high praise from the training unit.
In 2021, the global COVID-19 pandemic posed a challenge for our teachers to participate in the international training. The School of International Exchange and Cooperation actively explored online training programs and sent 71 teachers to participate in the "China-Australia International Bilingual Dual-Title (Certificate) Teacher Project", "Sino-German High-level Professional Teacher Training Camp", "Sino-German Dual System Elite Teacher Training Program" and "Rheinland Group Professional Training" and other high-level international training, and achieved good training results. In 2022, the school will continue to develop international training programs to promote the internationalization of SZIIT’s teachers and enhance their competence.
