1. Venue: Longcheng Temei Enamel Painting Creation and Exchange Center (Chenglong Garden, Longgang District)

2. Duration: half a day

3. Description: Go to the Temei Enamel Painting Creation and Exchange Center and visit the Social Practice Education Base; Learn about the cloisonne enamel painting, an intangible cultural heritage of China, through the explanation of the Temei (physically-challenged) craftsmen and the on-site work study; Master the production process of enamel painting through on-site learning and experience.

Program Purpose

Master the production and creation of cloisonne enamel paintings, and be able to independently complete enamel paintings.

Partner Introduction

Temei Workshop, also known as Temei Enamel Painting Creation and Exchange Center, is a private, non-profit entity initiated by 3 physically-challenged craftsmen and established by Longcheng Street. In 2018, Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Longcheng Street to jointly build a Social Practice Education Base for college students. At present, it has continued in-depth cooperation with the School of Digital Media for three years. Every year, teachers and students will be organized to visit the workshop and create enamel paintings. Nearly 200 enamel paintings have been created in total.
